Worst restaurant experience ever!

The waiter spilt half a bottle of red wine all over me, and didnt apologise properly. We then asked for the bill, and the waiter didn't even have the decency to add a discount for the spill (and for my now ruined clothes). Of course the spill was an accident. However the least they could have done was to take the wine off the final bill or included some sort of discount. BUT instead they starting yelling at us when we pointed out that we weren't compensated and that we don't accept to pay the full bill.

All they offered was to pay for the dry cleaner bill if we washed it at the place next door to the restaurant. This is impossible for us since we don't live in Munich and were leaving the next day (dry cleaner was closed that day anyway). The waiter left, and instead sent two colleagues, who both started yelling at us. Apparently they've never heard of compensation for ruining a customer's clothes (their words, not mine).

The food is mediocre. Spend your...

We have been to Cafe La Tazza'doro a multiple times and it has become one of our favorite restaurants in Munich. Why? Authentic homemade fresh pasta, simple menu, open atmosphere, good friendly service, and it is reasonably priced. The food does twist to the German pallate for a few options, but with simple gestures, example, adding wild boar instead of beef to a nice pasta rague.

We have had a big variety in the menu and we have yet to be disappointed. The meat and fish are surprisingly great.

If you come after 7:00 PM make a reservation, if you want authentic Italian, you have found the place. It is a small room, it can be intimate and tight...

We really enjoyed our experience here. From the outside looking in, doesn’t look like much but this place is truly authentic and blew us away. My son ordered Spaghetti Bolognese and he is very picky about this plate. My wife ordered the Spaghetti Lachs which comes with salmon. Very rich in flavor and she said she’d order this again for sure. A side of red wine called PRIMITIVO DI MANDURIA took her experience to the moon. I ordered the SPAGHETTI SCAMPI which was ultra delicious too. Shrimp & pasta was Definitely cooked to perfection. Sauce was finger licking good!!

It’s a cozy little place with great Italian food. I am frequent visitor of this place and the food never disappointed me. If you are planning to be there Thursday or Friday evening I highly recommend you to take a reservation. During the summer you can sit outside of course in the winter that’s not feasible. My only concern is the sitting arrangement as this can get a bit fussy as you have to move every time someone has to go inside and come out.
