Unfortunately, like all too many parishes in Munich (and across Germany in general), St. Ursula suffers from a pronounced form of modernism that renders the Mass nearly unrecognizable. Like many German parishes, the pastor here doesn't take his role as a priest seriously, and the place is run by a leftist parish council of the usual suspects. The physical building retains a great deal of its former glory, but with the typical German "renovations". I'd point out that self intinction is banned by the universal Church, but it isn't like Cdl. It follows medieval architecture with modern italian art. the exterior is covered with red bricks. the interior is simple but the building itself is impressive with the high columns and the rows of Jesus' disciples from both sides with painting for the crucifixion steps inbetween. The altar itself is magnificent and the roof is from another vision.
