Dishonest Service and Poor Food Quality – Avoid This Restaurant

I had a deeply disappointing experience with this restaurant during my recent visit to Munich. I ordered food for pick-up, expecting authentic and fresh Indian cuisine, but was utterly let down. The rotis they gave me were stale and nowhere near fresh. This is unacceptable, especially when catering to people who expect quality and authenticity based on the reviews. I am postings the photos of the rotis. Anyone can easily recognise which is a fresh roti and which is stale.

The paneer dish I ordered was excessively spicy, completely overpowering the flavors. It felt like no care or thought had been put into preparing the food. What’s even more frustrating is how misleading the fancy reviews and glossy interiors are. Let me tell you, these do not reflect the reality of the food or service.

I am going to share my review with all my colleagues at work and all my friends so that they don’t get fooled by the fancy reviews there are.

Waste of money, there are not so fancy Indian restaurants in Munich which serves much better...

This Indian restaurant in Munich is a hidden gem that you must try every time you pass through Munich. I dined here one cold night in December having spent quite a few hours at the Munich Christmas markets. I was with friends and we picked this restaurant off google map because it seemed like the closest decent restaurant. I’m so glad we found it. The atmosphere is great, the tables are generously sized and the chairs are super comfortable. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the young lady who served us spoke perfect English which was great as none of us spoke German! They also had English menus available. The food was generous in portion, and all curries were accompanied by a free rice portion. The paneer dish and the chana masala were very tasty. If I could give 10 stars to this restaurant, I definitely would. This place is perfect! First, the atmosphere is really special and kind of fancy. The interior decoration and the furniture are both beautiful and restrained. Second, the service is outstanding. Our waiters were extremely gentle, friendly and patient; they helped us a lot with recommendations and also clarifying the menu. As for the food, everything was so good. I tried the masala chicken and was perfectly cooked, tender, very tasty and the spices were well-balanced. The rice was also delicious and fresh. I drank a yogurt-based drink with mango and was really refreshing. Furthermore, the prices are tremendously fair. I highly recommend this restaurant. I definitely would visit it again and I hope to do it really soon.
