This place was surprisingly good for Asian food in Munich! The food was flavorful, nicely presented and pretty filling. We were thrilled about all the veggies. The service was very challenging. The waiter did not speak German nor English at all. We asked many questions and he always responded yes yes yes but then we found out that many dishes had gluten even though the waiter said no many times. The good news is the allergies are labeled so follow the menu not the waiter.

Super authentische vietnamesische Küche! Sehr lecker - so wie ich es auf meinen mittlerweile vier Reisen nach Vietnam auch kennengelernt habe. Es lief leise Musik mit harmonischer Melodie im Hintergrund, die ganz entspannend war und wir konnten uns angenehm unterhalten. Die Bedienung war super freundlich, aufmerksam und witzig drauf. Ich habe den Klassiker schlecht hin gegessen, Pho Bo. 1a! Außerdem hatte ich Granatapfeltee - auch spitze. Es herrscht eine ganz gemütliche Atmosphäre. Das Restaurant versucht nicht irgendwie auf hipp zu machen, sondern liefert gute Qualität zu echt fairen Preisen. Ich hab mich rundum wohl gefühlt und wir werden gewiss wieder kommen.

Empfang war freundlich. Service auch recht gut. Bei dem Essen ist noch viel Luft nach oben. Hatte die Ente mit Erdnussauce bestellt. Entenstreifen waren kaum zu schmecken stattdessen viel Panade. Viel Gemüse teilweise unpassend zum Gericht, Weiskohl, Gemüse zu groß. Soße schlechte Konsistenz weiß - gelbliche Farbe. Keine Erdnuss zu schmecken. Habe für das Budget deutlich besser gegessen. Man kann es Essen aber wirklich genüsslich ist es nicht.

We had a very fresh and tasty bowl of noodles at Tu Bao. It was located next to where we were staying so we thought we’d try it out. The service was friendly and helpful. We speak only a little German and the menu was in German only. Luckily, the server spoke English. We sat outside on a beautiful warm end-of-summer’s day.
