We tried various restaurants during our short trip to Munich. And I can say that Dong Que Quan is our most favourite one. The dishes are authentic and very tasty (my hubby ate twice as much as he normally does both times we went, that's how much he loves the food here :D). The restaurant is family-run and the prices are very reasonable. The owner (and also the chef) is a sweet and lovely Vietnamese lady. She put lots of love and dedication into making those dishes. We were so sad that we didn't discover the restaurant earlier, as there are many dishes we haven't managed to try. Today I had Com Tam Suon Bi Cha and this just take me to childhood, wenn I had this everyday before going to primary school. It just tastes exactly like in Vn. Pork chop is very tender and well seasoned, the "condensed" mixed fish sauce is so authentic (you have to put sugar in good ratio and cook until it get thicker). I am on diet but I have to eat it all because it is so gooddd. In Vietnam you get the "broken rice" (com tam) but i am happy with normal rice like this. This place is not only great for pho but you can even order a special kind of pho where you get fresh noodles and thinly sliced, fresh, eaw beef and it comes with a stone bowl of boiling beef pho broth that you can cook the beef in. They even have bun bo hue and bun Rieu which I've been searching all over Munich for and haven't found it until now!
