Kochlöffel — Restaurant in Northeim

First thing I have to mention, this place is cleaned to a high standard.

Normally when I enter a fast food I expect a bit of mess, not here.

Everything kept on point, from the food, the tables and the toilets.

Menu is a bit convoluted, but staff is friendly and makes you at ease, even if you don't speak german like me.

Burgers taste nice and they are cooked well, same for the fries and the nuggets.

If you are hungry and want some fast food, come here in Northeim you won't be...

The attendants were very friendly, the woman in the cash register even spoke English when she noticed that I was not native speaker. Food is cheap, and it is served fast. I ate broiled chicken, it was salty and not very tasty. The sweet potato fryes were OK, although one could feel the taste of frying oil that has been used for some time. Leider war mein Besuch im “Kochlöffel Northeim” eine enttäuschende Erfahrung. Als wir dort ankamen, war der Fußboden im Restaurant komplett dreckig und es schien, als wäre schon längere Zeit nicht mehr geputzt worden. Die Mitarbeiter saßen größtenteils herum, schauten auf ihre Handys und wirkten desinteressiert.

Ich hatte einen Hamburger bestellt, der leider weit von meinen Erwartungen entfernt war. Anstelle eines frischen Salats gab es lediglich ein kleines, bereits welk aussehendes Salatblättchen. Tomaten oder andere frische Zutaten fehlten komplett. Das Bacon, das ich zusätzlich bestellt hatte, sah nicht nur unappetitlich aus, sondern war auch bereits schlecht. Das Patty war in Ordnung, aber die Brötchen waren außen völlig trocken und sahen aus, als wären sie vom Vortag. Insgesamt war das Essen so unappetitlich, dass ich es kaum genießen konnte.

Ich hoffe, dass das Restaurant in Zukunft mehr Wert auf Sauberkeit und Aufmerksamkeit legt. Derzeit kann ich es leider nicht empfehlen. Auf dem bild sieht man das „salat blatt“...
