This restaurant became the worst place for me and my son. We had a dinner on July 24th. My son wanted to order exactly like last time ( a few days ago): steak ( beef filet)medium rare and gluten-free Penne with tomato sauce. My son is allergic to eggs, gluten, nuts, and some seafood. My husband and I always make sure about his menu, order first wherever we go. After steak, my son started to eat his Penne. After 3 bite, he stopped eating and wanted go home. Eggs and gluten, he has the reaction immediately. I doubted about gluten free Penne. Our place is 3min. away by walking so, I called my husband and prepare for his allergy reaction. The owner said that my son had the Arabiata source last time. It's normally spicy, he never had the source. But the owner said that he can make the Arabiata as not spicy source. I just paid and rushed to home. I wanted to check my son asap. He vomited 3 times already, I gave him his allergy medicine. Normally, he is fine after vomiting and with his medicine. But that night was different. He kept vomiting about every 20 minutes until midnight. Complained about severe stomachache and had diarrhea so badly. He couldn't get out of his bed, so he even vomited in his bed. He had not only allergy reaction but also food poison. I thought that he would be killed that night. What kind of nightmare would be worse than this to a mother? He vomited in pain his stomach fluid with blood dot , right after again diarrhea. It was over and over. His whole body had a rash, itchiness, and his face was pale. He shivered from pain and cold. I couldn't hold my tears anymore. I prayed and prayed for him to be fine. Today , I have to have rational thought again. My son is not perfectly fit, though he can eat rice porridge and vegetable soup. To conclude, the Penne was not gluten-free. The source he ordered was not Arabiata. Simply the owner and waiter, their kitchen lied. Most importantly, the beef filet was not fresh at all to sell or not eatable condition. We can not trust them at all , I will remember whenever I pass by this restaurant where my son would be killed. Thanks a lot...
Read morePersonally, I judge an Italian restaurant by the way the saltimbocca is prepared - it seems for me to be the visiting card that tells all. With the exception of the outside seating, this restaurant can only be given a mediocre. Went with a group of four, and had various dishes. For the two who had meat dishes, their report was that the meat was too grisly and tough. In concern to the side dishes, no flexibility is available. You get what they offer, period. The salad is served with oil and vinegar, period. The pasta dish that one in the party had consisted of over-cooked noodles and a very bland marinara sauce. And to the saltimbocca: a disappointment. The sauce was from a package - which is personally not acceptable for the prices on the menu - and the meat was too fatty. The service is inattentive, and we sat for quite a while with empty glasses, waving to have someone come to bring another round. Potential is there, but the desire seems to...
Read moreWe ordered 2 pizzas for take-away. The pizzas were very good. The crust was soft in the inside, crispy on the outside, just how we like it. Pizza bottom is thin which is also to our liking 👍. Cheese is not too salty (some pizzierias have very salty cheese which kills the tast). Rhe prices for both were 17 eur which i think is average. Service and atmospheric I rated neutral because we didnt dine in but I was greeted warmly when I entered the restaurant. For sure, we would further recommend this place for the pizzas. For the other dishes, we will have to come back and...
