While the waitstaff are kind and attentive, they do not possess a keen eye for quality control. The omelette dish was a visual aberration and it was truly surprising that the waiter allowed this charred and unappetizing omelette to be delivered to the table in the first place. The omelette was unmistakably burnt along its edges, lacked uniformity, and presented an unsightly crooked border. One cannot help but wonder how such an obviously flawed dish made it out of the kitchen.
I attempted to turn a blind eye to the horrid appearance of the omelette and to give the "chef" a chance to redeem himself with the flavour. Yet I was met with immediate disappointment as I took a reluctant bite. The burnt edges imparted an acrid and bitter flavour that left an unpleasant sensation on my taste buds. The overcooking resulted in a rough and dry texture that was hard to swallow. The consistency was rubbery and lacked the creamy, custard-like consistency that an omlette should possess. The seasoning was bland and I was left wondering if my order of "a plain omelette" made the kitchen think that they should not even bother with salt and pepper to enhance the flavour.

We are dinner here on a Saturday night - we didn't have a reservation for a party of 5, but were still seated and served promptly by Rana - who accommodated us speaking English. Starter - bruschetta, very nice. Mains - we mostly had pasta, one had salad. My Arrabiata was great, one of our party had the lasagna and said it was probably the best she's had at a restaurant. Drinks - all good, two had the house Leonardo soda and really enjoyed it.
When our mains were served, a little show was put on with dry ice and the gas flowing out over the table. Fun!
