Restaurant Il Mulino — Restaurant in Puchheim

Old school Italian 🇮🇹 restaurant 🍴. Old, experienced waiters signal, this isn't your random pizza/pasta place. A higher-priced seasonal and weekly menu is complemented by a regular / evergreen menu at reasonable prices. I ordered the homemade ravioli and was delighted to get a good portion of delicious tasting pasta, while other restaurants only bring 3-4 small pasta pockets once you order their 'homemade' pasta. Our party of 6 received impeccable service and when we asked the waiter for a group picture he REALLY knew how to get the best perspective by zooming in from two tables across to create a lasting positive memory.

P.S. Our waiters other colleague might need a more regular shower, as we were able to smell him before...

I expected more and was disapointed. The salad came with what seemed to be a good aged balsamic vinegar but under that, there was a huge pool of olive oil and white wine vinegar. It was "swimming" in it. The pasta was good but they didn't offer us the grated parmesan cheese and freshly grated black pepper until we asked for it. The place wasn't too full at the time. I was in Puccheim for a business meeting and decided to visit Mulino for lunch. I think I found a hidden gem probably Best Italian around this area. Bread was so fresh. Pasta was delicious. Ambience was traditional and old style. I would definitely visit again. Great hospitality from staff members. I would like to visit again with my family and friends...
