Didn’t expect them to run out of pastries in Europe, but here we are. Neo Cafe looked promising at first — the menu’s available in a couple different languages, which is always a nice touch when traveling. But when we got there, they were completely out of pancakes and croissants… which felt a little wild considering we’re in Europe, land of endless baked goods.
I went with the Salted Caramel French Toast instead — visually it looked great, but it was so sweet I couldn’t finish it. Like dessert-for-breakfast levels of sweet, and not in a balanced way.

Read moreWhile in Germany visiting our son in US Air Force, we decided to have breakfast at this wonderful, quaint cafe. We weren't aware that we needed to phone for reservations until we arrived. We were greeted with a smile and not turned away. The owner/staff graciously accommodated our family of 4 to dine-in even though they were booked solid. The service, food, and coffee were outstanding! We want to thank you guys for going above and beyond for our family, and we can't wait to visit your lovely establishment again!
Sincerely, Gregory, Pamela, Gavyn & Grace...
