Bovino Steakhouse — Restaurant in Raunheim

We didn't stay at the hotel. But we did eat at the restaurant. How this place is only showing 95 reviews blew my mind until Bina, our waitress (awesome, by the way), told us they've only been open a year and somehow some reviews show up for a week then dissappear. Anyway... we absolutely LOVED our dining experience June 24th, 2025. The restaurant, service, food, drinks - all SUPERB. I got a 200G sirloin, #36, Black Angus Hüfsteak and a side of sweet potato fries. This beauty of a steak came out on a hot "lava rock," almost fully raw. Some people may not like cooking their own food, particularly steak, but I love cooking and was surprised, since in the U.S. we are accustomed to hotplates, but not necessarily for cooking, but for keeping the meal warm. I thought this was fantastic!! It was seasoned, but it includes 3 tiny bowls with oil & herbs, butter & herbs, and a delicious BBQ-type sauce... maybe more like A-1 sauce. So you can add more or less how much you want. My husband got the Surf & Turf #44. This included a 200G Black Angus sirloin, and 100G Prawns. When I tell you those prawns were some of the best I've ever had..... the seasoning was on point/perfect. Sirloin was the same, lightly seasoned (with some rock salt sprinkled on top as well) and the same butter & herbs, and oil & herbs. He also got a mayo & herb-type dipping sauce which paired perfectly with the prawns, and even with the sirloin. He got the mushrooms as his side dish and they were phenomenal. Perfect texture, not over or under cooked, and beautifully seasoned. We don't drink, so we were boring and got water, mineral water, pineapple juice, and Zitronen Limon - all with ice (grateful for it on a summer night), and yummy. Come!!! You will...

Okay so I don't know about the rooms I didn't stay the night thats way I gave it 3 stars ( a nice neutral rating). Now the restaurant was fantastic !!! Bina was great with us and made us feel relaxed and informed about the steaks cooking steps. Which is presented on a very hot slab of granite raw and you cook it to the desired temp. Which is a very cool experience. But one I know not everyone will like,they do have hamburgers and other things as well....just come....

Letzte Woche waren wir mit meinen Arbeitskollegen im Bovino Steakhouse und hatten einen wirklich wunderbaren Abend! Die Atmosphäre war einfach perfekt – angenehm, entspannt und ideal, um sich in Ruhe zu unterhalten und das fantastische Essen zu genießen.

Als Vegetarier war ich besonders begeistert von der Trüffel-Pasta, die einfach super lecker war! Aber das Highlight des Abends waren definitiv die Fried Gnocchis mit Trüffel-Mayo, die uns der Inhaber persönlich serviert hat. Die Gnocchis waren so gut, dass sie sofort auf meine Favoriten-Liste gewandert sind – einfach ein Gedicht!

Auch die Bedienung war top: sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und immer mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht. Man hat gemerkt, dass das gesamte Team mit Herzblut dabei ist und den Gästen ein besonderes Erlebnis bieten möchte.

Alles in allem ein rundum gelungener Abend – sowohl kulinarisch als auch vom Service her. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Bovino Steakhouse nur wärmstens empfehlen! Vielen Dank für diesen tollen...
