This place is absolutely wonderful and even feels a bit magical - it felt like visiting old friends rather than just dining out. Everything was so heartfelt and homey. Owners are amazing people, so kind and welcoming that we already want to come back just to sit and enjoy the atmosphere again. Very few places in town were accepting those who didn't have a reservation. Gaststuberl had a table available with no reservation needed. Very rustic and cute German restaurant. Friendly service and homemade/regional foods. I appreciate that especially when visiting an area. You can tell that they make their recipes from scratch. I cook myself and I can tell the difference. Portions are plentiful. Salad that came with my schnitzel was good. Cheese spätzle with onion toppings was delicious...
