First of all the positive things: The location is beautiful, the restaurent itself is decorated lovely. The Staff is friendly and the "homemade" beer tastes great! Now to the bad things: Nearly no vegetarian or vegan options to choose from! I ordered the vegetarian pasta. We waited way over an hour for our meals to arrive at the table! In the meanwhile we finished our drinks. As the waiter finally came by to check on us (which happend very rarely) we reordered drinks. After waiting for half of an hour, I waved one of them to our table to ask if our drinks were forgotten. And yeah, they sadly were. When the meals finally arrived, I was really disappointed by the size of the vegetarian meal. We had an Schnitzel as well and the size of the meal was way bigger, even tho it costs 5€ less than the pasta! 16€ for 6 Tortellini is not acceptable. After we finished everything it took a while until we finally were able to pay.
We will try this place sometime in the future again, until then, I wouldn't really recommend this place, especially when you are...

Food wise, coming out of the UK, it might not be what you expect from a brunch. There might be small things that would surprise you (mustard dressing on smoked salmon for example). I guess I would call it a cold and hot buffet rather than a brunch really. But their pastries are lovely, and there is a good selection of items. It is maybe a little pricey. It's an all you can eat buffet but if like me you don't have a huge appetite, you might be a little disappointed. But you don't go there just for the food, you go there for...
Read morePleasant ambiente with well spaced, tastefully decorated tables. Menu is short and decisive, maybe the American steaks don't fit to it that well. Portions are very proper, you won't get home hungry. Food itself was truely homey and delicious, i tried the linsensuppe and Rolade, both based on recipes from owner's grandmothers. And you can immediately tell it, well done, comforting food one remembers from home. The staff is extremely friendly and one feels very welcome. I can fully recommend the place, definitely coming...
