The older woman working on Feb 21, 2019 (Maybe the owner) was the most rude person to my family. She hurried them through their order very impatiently. I had dropped them off just up the street when we passed this place and then circled back to park. They got confused when they could find me where I dropped them off and went back inside and snacked on their order. Since they got there food to go, the women was rude again and told them disdainfully that they should not have ordered to go if they were eating in. Ein hübsches Café im höheren Preissegment mit hausgemachtem Kuchen, Torten und Eis. Nachdem der Pächter (von Sauerwein auf Schlossbrauhaus) wechselte, gab es eine Neuorientierung, die meiner Ansicht nach auf Qualitätskosten ging.

Was mir gut gefiel: • Der runde Anbau, in dem sich der großzügige Sitzbereich befindet, ist ziemlich neu, komplett aus Fichtenholz gefertigt und mit einer umlaufenden Fensterfront versehen. Sehr gemütlich und hell. • Zumindest einige der Brote und Kuchen sind selbstgemacht. Allerdings habe ich den Eindruck, dass es sich nicht um Bäckerhandwerk, sondern selbstangerührte Industriemischungen handelt.

Was mir nicht so gut gefiel: • Ich hatte das Gefühl, dass der Laden keinen präsenten Chef hat. • Der Kuchen ist ok, aber würde mir mehr zusagen, wenn er weniger süß wäre. • Das Eis ist zwar „selbstgemacht“, schmeckt für mich aber nach selbstangerührtem Fertigpulver 😉 • 100 m Luftlinie weiter gibt es ein Café vom selben Pächter mit demselben Namen.
