Might have caught this place on a bad day. But the pesto was super bitter. The gnocchi was overcooked as was the tagliatele, and the all'amatriciana was a little thin, light on the guanciale, and had no peccorino but still bursting with smoky flavor so that was a win. Everywhere where there should have been basil, We seem to have arugula, which was pretty different, but no big deal (except the pesto, which they could have called out). They closed early for a private event and seemed pretty scattered. They were all very kind. But the atmosphere was a little intense. There was a cell phone ringing, pretty much the entire time, we were there. Unanswered. We werent allowed to sit outside due to an early closure, so that was a bummer, but understandable, they had a private event. It wasn't a particularly expensive meal, but too many things piled up to call it a good meal. I suspect maybe itnwas just bad timing and circumstance....

Ordered the Tiramisu came in a broken cup with glass in the actual dessert. Our waiter appeared to be super busy and a little stressed, working as a waiter before I knew the feeling, so I let it slide. My wife asked for a to go box and the waiter tossed a roll of aluminum foil at us and walked away. Mind you we had left over pizza, from a pizzeria. The pizza was good, but we felt like a huge inconvenience to the staff while we were there, and then to have a roll of aluminum foil plopped on our table in passing was...

Small-cozy place. We had wood-fired pizza, we loved the crust, though our order was confused with 4 cheeses pizza, Quattro Formaggi, instead of what we ordered, Quattro stagioni. We were too tired and hungry to push for what we wanted and owner too showed no interest to replace it, said this one is good pizza too. Minestrone soup was not what we get in US, i.e., chunks of beans and pasta etc, it was all one smooth blend of herbs etc., I did not like it, to be honest. The place is cash only and has limited...

Our favourite meal of our whole trip. The food was packed to bursting with flavour, I’m still thinking about the pasta days later! My daughter had the gluten free pizza, which was out of this world. By far the best stone baked base ever! And they offer any pizza toppings on the menu. The place was relaxed and had a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely visit again when we are next in schwangau

Delicious food, beautiful view of Neuschwanstein Castle. The owner speaks Italian, German and English. He was so kind and patient. He has Gluten free options for those who are celiac. My husband said it was the best gluten free pizza crust he has ever had. It was so soft. My pizza was wonderful and he was kind enough to give me extra basil for my pizza. The cappuccino was amazing!
