MESOPOTAMİA KÜCHE SEHNDE — Restaurant in Sehnde

We had just arravied in Hannover after a long journey from Italy and wanted a nice dinner. This was the only place in the area that looked nice and was opened. At the resturant we were met with a nice greeting from the owner. He was very helpful with explaning the menu in both English and Swedish! The menu was in german, and we would recommend a English translation aswell.

Me and my boyfriend ordered a shared plate of tabbouleh and 2 plates of Köfte. Both dishes were well seasoned and had amazing flavour. We were served freshly baked bread continuously and more sallad. The sallad on the Köfte plate was nothing special except for the grilled pepper and tomato. But the mixed sallad with black radish was good.

First time last Sunday (10/11) evening me and my colleague got by chance in Mr. Emra's restaurant. The food, the atmosphere and of course the service, were so good that we decided to come back with our ceo and other friends and colleagues on Thursday (14/11) when we had the chance to try other delicious dishes and an excellent Turkish wine. At the table we had 2 Turkish persons (our dear Friends and colleagues): who better than then could judge the quality of a Turk-Kurdish cuisine??? Well, they were super satisfied! Me and my roommates placed an order to pick up food, as we were having a social event at home. For months, I had peeked into the window at times that it was closed, so when we drove passed and saw lights on we decided spontaneously to order food. They gave us a time for pickup, and offered us a tea when we arrived and they needed to do some finishing touches. We could therefore also take in the ambiance, and we think the restaurant is tastefully decorated without overdoing it. I was also impressed seeing the fresh ingredients in the front.
