We recently visited Turkey, and we were craving a good Turkish meal and the hospitality which we experienced there here in the Böblingen/Sindlefingen area. And a friend recommended this restaurant although when we heard the name of the restaurant we were a little apprehensive. This is probably the worst experience we have had. We called to make a reservation for 3 and they said they don't make a reservation and it's walk in and they will find a table for us soon. We went there at 7 pm and everyone else who came after us got seated but not us. We waited for 1 hour 20 minutes and then we were seated. Others who waited like us got a complementary starter platter and us nothing. Our food came after 1 hour and portions were questionable. Too expensive and was not authentic. DO NOT RECOMMEND this place.
We agree that weekends are busy and crazy to accommodate everyone. But treating us differently compared to others was not fair Giving chicken instead of beef and charging us high was not fair It's a complete rip...
Read moreI was here on a Sunday with my family. The place was moderately filled but already too loud for a relaxed conversation, since tables are too close with not much space between. My food tasted good, my wife’s eggplant was burned, and prices were … well, not outrageous. I ordered a salad with chicken and Pfifferlinge mushrooms. Here comes the kicker though: when the salad arrived, it didn‘t have any Pfifferlinge, but only cheap champignons. When I pointed it out, the waiter went to the kitchen and back only to insist that indeed, there were pfifferlinge in my salad. He even went so far to pick up my fork, to pick up a pine nut and calling it a mushroom. Quite ridiculous, as it would have been fine to apologize for the obvious mistake. Not being able to tell apart nuts from mushrooms disqualified this...
Read moreWe went to brunch yesterday (Sunday) and it was terrific! We called the day before to get a reservation for two but they don’t take reservations for two but said if we get there early we would have no issues. We arrived around 9:30 and there was plenty of space. (It didn’t start getting crowded until about an hour later.) We were greeted at the door where a gentleman took our coats, showed us to a table, and then explained how the brunch works. As someone who is allergic to eggs and cow’s milk, breakfast can be a bit of a challenge but there were plenty of options and everything was really delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing and we never felt rushed. We will definitely be back for brunch and we are also going to try out their dinner service....
