A Taste of Indian Vegetarian Cuisine at Saffron Hotel's Restaurant in Stuttgart Saffron Hotel's restaurant in Stuttgart offers a culinary journey to the vibrant heart of North India, even for those seeking vegetarian options. Their menu is a treasure trove of delicious and authentic North Indian vegetarian dishes that will leave you craving more. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and well-cared for. The vegetarian section of the menu is extensive, offering a variety of curries, breads, and sides. I had the pleasure of trying the Paneer Tikka Masala, a creamy and fragrant curry made with cubes of paneer (Indian cottage cheese) and a rich tomato-based sauce. It was a perfect balance of flavors, not too spicy but full of depth. For a lighter option, the Vegetable Samosas were a delightful appetizer. The crispy pastry was filled with a flavorful potato and pea mixture, making for a satisfying and savory treat. To complete my meal, I indulged in the Aloo Paratha, a North Indian flatbread stuffed with spiced potatoes. The paratha was perfectly cooked, soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside, with a rich and satisfying flavor. If you're looking for a truly exceptional North Indian vegetarian dining experience in Stuttgart, Saffron Hotel's restaurant is a must-visit. The combination of authentic flavors, impeccable service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a standout destination for...
Read moreProbably the worst South Indian food we have had. We have been here twice so far: the first time we gave some feedback on why we didnât like the coconut chutney and thought it would be a one off. This time the idlis and vada were too hard, dosa quite rubbery, sambar watery and tasteless, coconut chutney the less said the better. The food wasnât easy on our stomachs either. We were quite disappointed. We canât comment much on their North Indian options.
Update 1: Provided the restaurant with some information for them to easily verify that we were actually there, since one very rarely saves an invoice unless one is getting reimbursed.
Update 2: Itâs quite surprising that they have many transactions for the same amount on the same date and time (they have a screenshot of my card transaction). The restaurant offered a refund but only if I come in person and collect (why would I do that! Edit: I never asked for refund, it was offered by the restaurant without any request from me. Have all the corresponding communication, including a legal threat).
There have been a few exchanges via email where I have been blamed for writing the review (apparently I should stop), for having come to their restaurant (why did I come the second time) and that I should not expect âhome taste, itâs a restaurantâ (I never told them that I expected âhome tasteâ). Didnât know one has to go through all this including threat if one dares to write an...
Read moreTwo new restaurants opened up in one week in Sindelfingen. This Indian restaurant was one of them. My wife and I absolutely love Indian food. This place met and exceeded our expectations. Manju greeted us upon arrival and explained everything on the menu. The service was also polite and attentive. We began with an appetizer of onion Bhaji. We then ordered four main dishes as we like to share, taste, and take some home. We ordered Palak Paneer, Paneer Karahi, Chicken Madras, and fish curry. All were excellent, but my wife could not get over how delicious and perfectly cooked the salmon curry was. We also ordered papadums and garlic naan accompanied by glass or two of Chardonnay. The restaurant also offers a lunch menu. Manju was wonderful. We discussed traveling in India and living in Germany. Her personality was delightful. Come in here and enjoy some great Indian cuisine in a serene setting. If you already have a favorite, give this one a try to as they offer items I have not seen elsewhere like idli. It...
