Food: the only running sushi in the area Sashimi was very very seldom (only salmon, and really really thin) Not much sushi variety (only salmon and a lot vegetarian) The deep fried food was very greasy (shrimps were very seldom) meat was mostly chicken and seldomly duck fish was only salmon and the occasional fried shrimp (but no shrimp sushi) no seashells, no tuna or shrimp sushi, no beef dishes, no fruit salad, no ice cream (we were there 1h) deserts were only tiramisu (store bought), apple cut in pieces (no sauce), fried banana (no fried apple or fried ananas) and coconut milk drink. Fried Banana was with a topping sauce, not honey wasabi, sweet sour sauce and ginger are also on the running belt (you take what you need with a spoon and put it back on the belt...) In general the food (running sushi) was 3 out of 5 3 years ago we took take away and the sushi and duck were much better (the banana was also not very awesome back then either)

Prices and payment: dinner (running sushi) is 18,50€ p.p. + drinks only cash accepted, no cards (there is a Volksbank ATM 100m away)

Children: they have high chairs

Location and Parking: it's on the main road, city center, busy area first floor (stairs - not wheelchair accessible) parking along the road (a bit hard to find a place) parking paid on weekdays until 19h...

Sushi quality was ok, salmon quality was bad, especially for raw fish.

Their tomato based soup was 5/5 splendid, baked/fried food tasted very good. Problem is there was little variety, even compared to other all you can eat/ running belt restaurant.

There was only one dessert which tasted weird, aside that it was only bakrd banana and coconut drink (was very good). The offered ice-cream was Aro(the cheap quality self-brand of Metro) so let's not even talk about that.

Overall it was okay, but for this price it felt like a let-down, especially since for this price there are better competitors in the city.

Tl;dr: need better fish for sushi, more dessert, and a few more variety of main dishes.

Extra addition: their cooked green tea was poorly made over watered and tasteless, and the amount for price was horrible.

Not to mention we are in 2023, after a pandemic as well, and this is a proper restaurant, not a small döner place, yet you can't pay with card, only cash, so i had to go take down money from a neighboring ATM costing...

Wir waren gestern zu viert das erste Mal abends beim Kyoto Running Sushi Buffet. Wir gingen durch die Eingangstür, niemand da, wir gingen weiter am Empfangs-/Bezahltresen vorbei, immer noch niemand da, um uns zu begrüßen. Durch einen Durchgang konnte man aber das Running-Sushiband und besetzte Tische sehen. Wir haben uns also an einen Tisch zum Band gesetzt und haben gewartet, dass jemand kommt, um die Getränke aufzunehmen. Nach ca. 8 Minuten Warten vor dem Running-Sushiband hielten wir es nicht mehr aus und fingen an, Tellerchen herauszunehmen. Endlich kam dann eine Bedienung und fragte nach den Getränken. Wir aßen weiter, die Tellerstapel wurden höher und höher, wie das so ist beim Running-Sushi ist. Auf allen anderen Tischen stapelten sich ebenfalls die Teller. Wir warteten aber vergeblich darauf, dass jemand die Tellertürme abräumen kommt, es ließ sich nachdem wir die Getränke hatten ohnehin niemand mehr blicken. Das Essen ist gut, manche Sushi-Rolls sind unförmig, das liegt daran, dass es die Enden der Rolle sind. Desserts kam recht spät, Bubble-Süppchen udn eine Art Tiramisu, das nicht gut aussah. Keine Früchte oder Ä. Jedenfalls leerte sich der Raum bis 19:30 ziemlich schnell. Wir sind dann auch gegangen, niemand kam an den Tisch, es gab auch niemanden, den man nach einer Rechnung fragen konnte, also sind wir in den Vorraum und haben am Tresen gewartet. Irgendwann kam dann die Bedienung, die gerade (endlich aber für uns und alle anderen auch zu spät) Wassermelonen-Dreiecke aufs Band legte und wir durften zahlen. Das Foto entstand um 19:30 Uhr, man sieht die nicht abgeräumten Tische.

Zusammenfassung: Das Essen ist gut und frisch (die Miesmuscheln sahen nicht gut aus, die haben wir nicht probiert), der Service ist praktisch nicht vorhanden, das Ambiente ist irgendwie auch nicht gemütich, es säuselt eine chinesische Musik, im Vorraum ist nichts als der nicht besetzte Tresen und mit Lichtstimmung im Essraum ist auch nichts. Man fühlt sich wie in einer Abfülle, in der kein Wert auf die Gäste gelegt wird. Schade, denn das Essen war gut und das...
