Imbiss Inn — Restaurant in Stuttgart

Staying at the Dormero (or the SI Suites), Imbiss Inn is a very short walk right next to the hotels. Small, local place with about 30 different varieties of burgers, fries, and Brats. Right now, I'm a big fan of the Phantom Burger (though I didn't get the onions or other veggie toppings). The Phantom burger is 2 hamburger patties with cheese, bacon, and a fried egg on top (I think... can't remember). I was told by another customer (English speaking) that the Wicked burger was good, but it has peanut butter on it... so I passed. Anyway, there is usually one lady who is working there but she takes about 2-3 orders at a time and cooks them all up, multitasking. Overall, very good burgers and fries, especially for the value. The Phantom Burger is 4 Euro and the fries are 2.80 euro (.30 euro if you want ketchup added). No chairs to eat there. Only pub tables...

Excellent hamburger stop, Burgers are delicious and made to order quickly. Most cooks speak english, and are quite friendly. Parking is extremely limited, there is space for 2, possibly 3 cars, but sometimes the cook is parked there. Within easy walking distance of, and situated directly between Plieninger Straße and Salzäcker stops on the U3 line, so it is an easy ride for a quick bite even from Vaihingen. Large picture menu on the wall depicting ingredients, so it is easy to order a great burger, and modifications are no problem (such as no onions, etc). Decided to try it out. Nice mom and pop burger place. Person helping me didnt speak english but was helpful. She didnt have complete change for the 20 euro I gave her and I didn't realize I didnt get all my change back until I was about ready to leave when she gave me the rest of my change. She had a kid break a 5 euro next door and run back while she was making my burger. I appreciate the honesty. Burger was really good too. I will remember to bring change next...
