Taj Mahal — Restaurant in Stuttgart

We had gone as part of tour package with a big group of 43 including the captains and had prebooked the place for a particular slot from 7-8 pm for buffet dinner. When we reached we were told to wait another 10 mins to get things ready and it was already 7.30 pm. Leaving that aside, the staff was extremely rude! Our menu had a choice of one non veg dish with other veg dishes as part of the buffet and on pointing out the obvious lack of chicken after just 5 people ate from our group, we were told the buffet was cheaper than whole meals and hence that's the only chicken we shall be served! Already space constrained with 10 of our guests waiting outside due to lack of seating despite notifying n booking in advance, the hostility in the tone for each service we requested starting from simple hot water to spoons, we did not even wanna have a second serving of the food despite not having enough in the first go or the dessert which we were told was served after half the party left the premises! Do not recommend for a group tour or if u r on vacation! Might work for u if u r craving good Indian food as the flavours were quite good (can only tell for the veg food though) so no negative comments...

I ordered food from this restaurant for a party and partially I received a different order. I had ordered garlic naan but I received normal naan which was like a rubber and soggy. I called the restaurant and they told that we cannot help because from their end it was good and if I recieved wrong order then I should remove the naan I threw in garbage and get it to the restaurant. The person on call also said that he doesn't care about customers and if I did not like the food then I should not order it in future. I would not suggest anyone or any German to visit this place or order food from here. The customer service was very bad. We were here in a big group and had reserved a table in advance and got prompt seating on arrival. The place is quite small so would definitely recommend a reservation in advance. Their menu is pretty extensive. The starters are especially good, we got a few chicken starters, samosa chat and bhel for the table and liked all of I quite a lot. The main course is also quite good, we had various types of dal, paneer, chicken and lamb and the food was very tasty and authentic. The service was a bit slow and our food took a long time to arrive. They seem to be swamped with a lot of online pickup and delivery orders and the continuous flow of delivery guys for pickup also kind of kills the vibe of the place.
