Sylt Entrée — Restaurant in Sylt

If you're looking for a cozy café with a service that is “authentically Nordic”, then Sylt Entrée is a must-visit. I recently stopped by for breakfast a couple of times and was thoroughly impressed by the selection.

The cozy atmosphere made for a perfect start to the day or a great stop to warm up after a breezy walk along the beach. Another great aspect of this café is that they welcome dogs, which is always a plus in my book.

Meine aktuellen Erfahrungen:

Di., 13.09.2023: Das Entree bietet auf seiner (scheinbar ganzjährig gültigen) Speisekarte u. a. div. Frucht-Eisbecher an, obwohl die dort erwähnten Früchte gar nicht vorrätig sind.

Do., 15.09.2023: Ich wollte das angebotene "Klassik"-Frühstück (mit Spiegelei und Latte Macchiato) bestellen. Bis ich jedoch meine Bestellung aufgegeben konnte saß ich schon mind. 20 Minuten dort am Tisch, ohne das meine Anwesenheit überhaupt zur Kenntnis genommen wurde. Nachdem ich dann endlich bestellen konnte wurde mir sowohl das Besteck mit Serviette und der Latte Macchiato serviert, und das war's dann. Nach weiteren ca. 20 Min. (der Latte Macchiato war inzwischen schon fast kalt) hatte ich mein Frühstück noch immer nicht. Da bin ich dann irgendwann aufgestanden und habe das Lokal verlassen (natürlich ohne zu bezahlen, denn ich hatte bis dahin ja auch noch nichts verzehrt), und habe daraufhin woanders gut gefrühstückt.

Einen neuen (dritten) Versuch werde ich mir dort nicht mehr zumuten.

Update (25.03.2024): Letzteres habe ich bei meinen nächsten Inselaufenthalten (Oktober 2023 und März 2024) auch wahrgemacht, denn es gibt dort ganz in der Nähe (vom Lokal durch die Verglasung sogar in Sichtweite) eine viel bessere und zugleich auch noch kostengünstigere Frühstücksmöglichkeit, mit Selbstbedienung am Frühstücksbuffet.
