amazing food and amazing view. we used to come here more often before. today was the first time after covid. unfortunately, the staff were not as friendly and courteous as before. the one who served our table came assuming we are done eating and just put together our plates to collect. he did so without even asking if we are done eating. there's still food on the plate so we had to stop him to say we are bot yet done eating! he came back this time to collect our glasses which were again not empty 😠😐 and again without uttering any questions to ask if we were finished 🤯 we didn't really understand the rush when there were at least 5 empty tables outside and inside the restaurant was completely empty. there were no...

We stayed at the Lieberhof on our way home from Austria. It's a very traditional old hotel with dark wooden flower-filled balconies overlooking the lake. It's quite a way back from the main town but makes up for this with spectacular views. We received a great welcome from the young couple managing the hotel. We organized a a-la-carte lunch for our wedding here with 13 persons, it was lovely and we can totally recommend it for low-key weddings; we sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful view over the lake; for the light drizzle the staff had umbrellas and pulled them up immediately; the food was great and lots of vegetarian options, and a gluten-free Kaiserschmarn; friendly staff and one of the few places that I could get rather spontaneously a table for a low key wedding; only downside we were charged 180EUR for the white table cloth and napkins...
