A treat not only to your belly but also for eyes. Really nice decorated and maintained Indian restaurant. Staff is very friendly and service is very good. The owner himself take care of guests.
Food itself was tasty. One of the best Lassi in the Germany. Dal Tadka is a must try.
They also have a pavilion in the backyard with heaters so that you can enjoy your food outside during winter also. Located near Traunstein train station.

One costumer less! The owner was angry when i asked him for the bill specifications,turns out we payed 0.5l mango shake 10€!! When I asked where can I see this price in menu,he said that there is no one in menu!!! I would never pay such a price if it would be such a price in menu! We payed 4 mango shakes 40€!! What a fraud! He was convincing me that this wasn't this type of mango shake,but couldn't explain why this expencive one isn't showed up in menu! He wasn't kind!This is not the way you threat your costumers! Wir hatten schon seit längerem geplant mal indisch Essen zu gehen in Traunstein und haben es nun umgesetzt, da wir im Urlaub sehr lecker indisch gegessen haben.
Wer noch nie indisch gegessen hat und keinen Vergleich anstellen kann, dem schmecken die Speisen hier sehr gut! Solltet ihr allerdings in Indien oder in einer Weltmetropole beim indischen Essen gewesen sein, dem wird es hier nicht so gut schmecken.
Das Ambiente im Inneren / Souterrain ist ansprechend, aber für manchen Geschmack etwas zu duster und leider nur über eine Treppe erreichbar. Außen gibt es leider nur sehr wenig Sitzplätze und diese sind auch noch sehr eng beieinander, daher versteht man das Gespräch vom Nachbar sehr gut.
Die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte ist jedoch sehr gut und die Portionen reichlich groß. Das Servicepersonal könnte jedoch noch ein bisschen aufmerksamer sein. Die Preise sind allerdings auch nicht ohne, das man sich das jede Woche oder alle 2 Wochen leisten kann mit einem normalen Angestellten-Einkommen.
FAZIT: Gutes, aber nicht grad preiswertes indisches Essen in einem Souterrain(Keller) Restaurant. Empfehlung an den Inhaber...evtl. einen neuen Standort sich in Traunstein zu suchen...
