Al Borgo — Restaurant in Vaterstetten

Nice Resturant good decor and the outdoor sitting is very relaxing

The staff are very friendly but they only speak Germany no English speaker there

I went to this Resturant after I read the great reviews about their food so I was expecting delicious food but to my surprise the Margarita pizza was literally dough with tomato sauce on top of it hardly any cheese on it And the pasta oh it was plain really JUST pasta and butter !!!!

I wouldn't try it again but to be fair I'm a Muslim so I only ordered veggie and non meat food so if you are not limited to such conditions I think you will find the Resturant menu and food...

First and foremost I am starting to write reviews with only one mission, to bring down the Ivona Kovačević review empire. Shes been on my dk for too lond and im sick of her award winning reviews. Anyways the Al borgo restaurant really exceeded my expectations, the lasagne was just amazing, the sauce had a tomato and cheesy taste and dough in lasagna was just right, not too harsh and also not too soft. The place was crowded but not only because it’s Sunday, but because they serve really quality Italian dishes. The pasta with salmon was cooked perfectly, not too dry, not over or undercooked and the best thing about it is that after eating it you don’t feel heavy even the portions are really big. I read some reviews that the stuff does not speak English. 👀 Well maybe it would be great not to be ignorant and learn one more language...
