Mykonos Restaurant — Restaurant in Würzburg

We’ve waited more than 1,5 hour with my 11mo son and eventually would like to cancel our main courses, pay the rest and go home without saturated. Here is the things got ugly and sameful. They did not accept to delete the main courses and forced us to pay the foods that we did not eat after 1,5 hours. (told they’re almost ready to serve or pack) We kindly said that if we’ve been told that there will be delay and we have had to wait more than 1 hour, we’d have ordered from starters instead.

As our baby’s sleeping time past he started being tense and we would like to be quick and try to explained that we’ve waited more than 1,5 hours,no one looking our table properly and finally our son started crying etc…

But they were so mean,so inconsiderate (especially the lady with long dark hair, who make the drinks on bar), she told us that “this is not mc Donald’s, you should decide to stay and eat or pay and go…”

We’ve went to the Greece 5 times before and really loved the foods, fascinated Greek hospitality and kindness but they were have no concern with being kind or hospitable.

The long and the short of it, it was terrible experience for us and we’ll not thinking to go once more. There are tens of Greek Rest. in Wurzburg with much better...

The place looks nice on both outside and inside. Unfortunately, it’s hard to enjoy your food in the garden, because smoking is allowed at all outdoor tables. A non-smoking area would be cool. The food was quite ok, but not delicious. The béchamel sauce was a bit to thin to my liking, but the dish was saved by large amount of cheese. The prices are moderate for Germany, so about 13-17 € for a meal. The service was rather slow and blundered at least twice - by asking foreign customers if they’re Russian because of speaking unknown language (being mistaken for a Russian feels offensive to us) and by serving a glass of ouzo to a person ordering alcohol free beer. Free ouzo is a nice gesture of course, but in context of our situation it came a bit awkward. On top of that you can only pay by cash or German only card - they don’t accept visa or master card. Not a bad place in general, but nothing...

For us, here the foods are really good and the service also good, we like to be here or to bring our friends for celebrations or just to share our happiness together.

I have only one point negative to mention. The last time we came for dinner, a gentleman, who I think was the owner of the restaurant, came and warned us about something. My son is 7 years old and he was on his knees in his chair watching the park outside. He warned him not to touch the windows and not to get them dirty. He said that the windows had just been cleaned and that he should not touch them. But the child was just watching. After all, he is a child. How much dirt can he get on the windows when he is watching outside until the food arrives? This issue bothered me a bit. Because this placa is one of the places we...
