We had high hopes for this Italian restaurant, but sadly, it fell far short of expectations. While the ambiance was pleasant, several issues ruined our dining experience. To begin with, the wine wasn't properly chilled, and the pasta was overcooked, losing that perfect al dente texture. The carpaccio lacked the necessary olive oil to enhance its flavors, and the tortellini—despite being a promising dish—was ruined by the use of canned peas, which dulled the taste.

We arrived hungry and ready to enjoy a good meal, but despite our appetite, we couldn't finish our main courses. Our disappointment grew as we noticed that two elderly women at the next table had spilled their drinks. They asked for help, but none of the staff assisted them. They were left to eat with their table flooded. I eventually stepped in and gave them the two napkins from our table to prevent the drinks from spilling onto their knees.

As if that wasn’t enough, I ordered lasagna to go and made it clear that we wanted to pay as soon as we received it. No one mentioned that the restaurant was cash-only—neither when we placed the order nor when we were seated! When the lasagna arrived and I tried to pay by card, the waitress informed us that they only accept cash. I was shocked and immediately irritated. When I told her we didn’t have enough cash, she suggested that we could go to an ATM. However, we didn’t have our ATM cards with us. Her next suggestion? Leave our passports and come back tomorrow. We don’t even live in this city, so that was not an option.

While I was talking to the manager, the German girls sitting next to us kindly offered a solution: they suggested paying for us via PayPal. But the manager refused, saying she does have PayPal but doesn’t allow people to pay with it.

I reviewed this place like a year ago and when I look back on the review I feel I didn't adequately paint the picture. This is a small restaurant but it makes up with their amazing staff. Everytime I'm here I see Sara (the super hero waitress) attending to everyone in such a personal way, she remembers everyone and what is going on in their lives. Looking at some of the not so good reviews on here I can personally say that all my food came out in an appropriate amount of time even when it was busy and everything I have ordered has been exceptional! People have their days so I can only assume the negative reviews were based off an off day, I've been coming here for almost 3yrs and have never been disappointed. While the food is super amazing I won't lie I continue to come back for Sara. She is a super star here for sure. My favorite place to go in...

The ambient was amazing. After a long day of work on a cold German night. You can see a the burners on. Which gives you the option to eat outside or inside. They have a larger wine 🍷 selection and the lasagna CHEF! Is my favorite and I might venture away from it but I love it. The delivery is done with a deep dish. Which is bubbling hot and you can smell all the aromas. It smells delicious and it’s so good. The portion is so satisfying and it’s a walk away from and indoor mall. It’s a smaller mall but I like to walk off my dinner. I usually walk after dinner. Their is a large park across this city center to walk around and the building add to the experience.
