Ruff's Burger & Bar Weiden — Restaurant in Weiden in der Oberpfalz

I usually don’t write reviews, but today's situation shocked me. I came to the restaurant with my girlfriend, we often visit this place and already know what’s on the menu. We knew what we were going to order, so without hesitation, my girlfriend raised her hand and said that we were ready to order. An elderly waitress approached us and took our order.

Fifteen minutes later, the same waitress brought us our food. I was on the phone at the time. When she placed the food down, she started speaking loudly, I would even say, lecturing my girlfriend on how to behave. She said that it is not appropriate to raise a hand in a café to call a waiter; instead, you should close the menu and wait. She also added that we always come to this place and behave this way. I repeat, I was on a work call during this, and her behavior disrupted me, so I had to call the person back after we left.

We didn’t eat the food she brought, we paid and left, to which she said, "okay." After today's incident, I won’t be coming to this place again. I don’t believe that raising a hand to ask a waiter to take your order when they are not busy with someone else is a sign of disrespect. As I mentioned, we were in a hurry and knew the menu very well since we had been to this...

We were in town and were craving burgers, so Ruff's Burger was the spot. So glad they actually use fresh ground smashed beef for their burgers. My family of 4 came in for dinner and we were not disappointed. I ordered the avocado burger and added a fried egg with it along with truffle fries. I will admit, while my burger was cooked just right, sadly it definitely needed salt ro make just a little flavorful. Along with the burger, as everyone has already mentioned, the unsalted fries... my saving grace with the fries was the truffle sauce 🤤 it was definitely the highlight of my meal. The moment I finished my sauce though, I stopped eating my fries - though cooked to a crisp perfection as well, it was lacking a little salt. For a drink, I did end up ordering a Lillet Wildberry, which was made just right. My daughter and husband ordered chicken burgers, it both looked good, both were breaded. And then my son got a chicken nugget off the kids menu, they have one! All and all I'd probably come back to try the other food...

I very really rarely give one star, But this place deserves it i came in to order a take out pastrami burger( the obnoxious waitress did not tell me that for another 2 euros , I could get fries and coleslaw. No big deal. I’ve been in Europe for number of years and she was the number one nastiest waitress I’ve ever encountered. She obviously cared nothing about her job.

Onto the burger. I’ve had a larger burger in a happy meal at McDonald’s. The pastrami, if you want to call it that, was extremely dry.And how do you called this pastrami? I added some truffle oil just to make it juicy and edible. There are , three strips of burnt pastrami on the burger. The burger itself is smaller than my fingers. Are you serious? This amount of money for this kind of burger?

They obviously are appealing to Americans with English signage, American music, and even a picture of their food truck. Shame on you! Hire a staff that cares about the business and provide a quality product. I will...
