Hidden gem!
I have been to the arts centre quite a few times and I have never looked at the direction of Abajo and I’m so glad I did today
It’s on the right hand side of the main entrance to the Art Centre (centre for national culture)
It’s open from Monday to Saturday It has a beautiful airy garden area before you enter the main restaurant
The restaurant has a dark interior as such the pictures may have a vibe that may not be immediately appealing but it’s really nice and spacious inside with African inspired interior and many interesting things to look at my favourite being the book self!
If you are a fan of African literature you should spend the day here, I definitely plan to because I saw some great titles I would love to read

Absolutely...
Read moreGreat local restaurant with tasty cuisines. You can't go wrong choosing from any of the a wide array of meals on offer. Add a chilled beverage to get it settled. The rich African vibe that place gives is just amazing.(really great for selfies and group pics) Sit on wooden stools made for kings and admire art works on display. And their drums collection,.. really nice.
It's a nice experience, and I hope you'll remember to add it to your tourist...
