Mango's Restaurant Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Accra

The food here isnt bad but really bad service takes away from the experience. Went there with a friend and was told our food would take 10mins. After about 20mins or so we were told the food was being prepared and would take a few more minutes. Over 35mins after taking the order we were told the food ordered was finished and we had to order something else. After expressing our displeasure we ordered something else only to have the initial order delivered. Based on experience above 2nd time i visited I called ahead to order, my name wasn't taken even though I offered it. Got there and of course no one knew who I was or what I wanted. I had to repeat my order to two people and eventually call the order line before my meal was eventually brought...whole process took 25mins. Even to get someone to take my money was another problem...and did I mention they didn't even put cutlery in the takeout...

So I went in with a friend this afternoon the 23/11/23 for a takeaway. We ordered jollof and goat which took 20mins. We paid and drove back to the office where to our astonishment we got a wrong order. Our goat was replaced with chicken. So I decided to call and complain. The lady who received the call listened and said she was sorry and that since payment has been made there was nothing she could do. My questions are; Isn't there a manager? Why should payment be made for an order and then a different thing is given. What is the short dish order waitress duty? Is it the duty of the Patron to cross check the ordered food before taking it away? What is the remedy for paying more and getting less? Shouldn't there be a refund of the extra amount paid? My experience was...

Mangos restaurant is located at Nii Sai road, eat Legon. I mostly eat fufu with light soup and goat meat with pork at mangos restaurant, and every single time has been an amazing experience. I always take away or call in to ask for delivery to my address. Delivery rate is good, food is delicious as well.

With the recent renovations at mangos restaurant, it’s a nice hangout spot to chill with friends and listen to cool music. I highly recommend. I’m updating my review at this point because I paid another visit to Mangos restaurant today the 29th of January and it was Amazing, the space looks totally gorgeous and the staffs were properly dressed in their branded T’s.
