Our midday experience at Li Beirut was equally remarkable. The lunchtime ambiance retained its inviting charm, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. The seafood platter for two, a standout choice for lunch, continued to impress with its freshness and delightful array of flavors. The chef-owner's engagement during lunch added a personal touch to the experience, showcasing a commitment to ensuring guests feel welcomed throughout the day. The lunch menu, I assume, provided a diverse selection that catered to different tastes while maintaining the high culinary standards we encountered. The attention to detail in service remained consistent, with the staff delivering attentive and friendly assistance. The well-crafted cocktails served during lunch complemented the seafood perfectly, contributing to an overall delightful midday dining experience. The thoughtful touch of complimentary fruits and lemongrass tea adds another layer to the dining experience at Li Beirut. The complimentary fruits served after the meal, coupled with lemongrass tea, exemplify Li Beirut's commitment to providing a truly exceptional dining experience. This thoughtful gesture not only serves as a delightful conclusion to the meal but also showcases the restaurant's dedication to going above and beyond to ensure guests leave with a lasting, positive impression. It's these small details that contribute to the overall charm and hospitality of Li Beirut. Read moreThe owner/manager’s lack of patience, empathy, decorum, and professionalism was deplorable and disgusting! Due to this, we will NEVER return, and would STRONGLY warn others to STAY AWAY! We came in on a day where unfortunately there were not enough staff to accommodate the number of guests in the restaurant. This is totally okay, but unfortunately we were in a rush, and could not afford to wait. When we expressed wanting to cancel our shisha order and pay the bill for everything we consumed (even the shisha we ordered but no longer wanted as we had to leave), we were met with the manager/owner questioning us, then berating and verbally abusing the staff, and firing one of them right in front of us and all the other customers, because of the longer than usual wait time that resulted in us having to rush off. Again, we were not angry or upset by the slower than usual service, however we unfortunately were in a rush and had to leave. My partner had to go and plead with the manager to NOT treat the staff so poorly and to NOT fire the boy, as it was clear they were understaffed and it was a misunderstanding, to no avail. So if you would like to support a business that verbally abuses, and publicly humiliates young Ghanaians just trying to work and do their best, then this is the right place for you. Otherwise, PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND THAT SICK...
Read moreA friend of mine invites me to check this place out with her.
Location: Very easy to find. It’s about 150m on the left when coming from the American House traffic light in East Legon towards Okponglo. They have an outdoor seating area as well as indoor seating area. We choose to sit inside.
Reception: Right from parking (which is actually quite limited), we were greeted with smiles from the staff and they were very open to assist.
Food: My favourite part 😋 Since it was our first time there, the waitress, Juliet, suggested the seafood platter. She specifically suggested the half platter because we were just two people and assured us we would love it. She wasn’t wrong, we utterly enjoyed our meal and couldn’t even finish it.
Platter came with two different seafood sauces, potato fries, fried rice, calamari & shrimp salad, fried calamari, fried red fish, sautéed shrimps and fried yam strips.
We had to pack up the rest to take home with us.
We also tried their fresh mango juice. It’s no hoax. It’s definitely the real deal. They have other fruit juices as well.
Conclusion: You really need to visit this place. Try their fresh juices and definitely try the seafood platter.
If you go as a family or group of friends, that would be the affordable option and...
