U-TRN — Restaurant in Accra

What really stands out for me about U-turn and Roundabout is their pricing. I actually had to call to make sure their meal prices listed here were up to date before placing my order. This is a huge selling point, and kudos to them for making their meals affordable.

The whole aesthetic of the place is strongly reminiscent of the early 2000s fast food theme, which I absolutely love. There isn't a lot of seating area available, but then again, this isn't your typical dine-in place, and I believe the space available is more of a waiting area for your takeout.

For the food, the portions are considerably generous. I didn't particularly hate any of my orders. The patty of my burger, however, had about four tiny bits of bone. I don’t know if they’re bought pre made or made in-house, but that’s something worth looking into.

Also, when you pick up your order, you're supposed to pick up your UTRN and roundabout orders from two separate servers, as they're kind of separate entities?? I didn't know this and almost walked out without some of my orders. I was only told this after I asked. I think this is information that should readily be...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I’m from the US 🇺🇸 and I was visiting in Ghana. My husband brought me to this restaurant. When I tell you everything was soooo good! They have two sides to their restaurant with different meals you can choose from. The sweet spicy wings and fried rice was yummy! It was my favorite I told the guy I was going to come back for a burger; when I tell you that was the BEST BURGER! It tastes better than the burgers here 😂 (caramelized onions). I ordered from this place like 4 times while there even got upset they was closed one day. I would love to see a U -TRN in 🇺🇸 you guys would do great here! I would be you guys biggest supporter. Have ordered from here three times now. Ordered sweet and spicy wings and fried rice. The fried rice never disappoints but 2x I experienced the spicy wings as wayyy too salty. I ordered them a third time for my husband and his couldn’t finish two of the small wings bc it was too salty.

I’ll return but am reluctant to get the wings again. The pine juice they have is nice as well

A note for the chief. Take a tablespoon of the sauce you’re mixing first thing in the morning without rice or any sides. And if you have a hard time swallowing it bc of the salt don’t give it to...
