Anna's Tavern (Xasteria) — Restaurant in Argostoli Municipality

I couldn’t be more dissapointed. All the reviews have filled me with expectations, none of which were fulfilled. The staff seemed cheerful at first, and we didn’t have any issues with the order itself. However even tho’ we were sitting directly in the front of the door to the backyard, many people (that came like half an hour after us) did get their appetizers, and at this point we didn’t even get single bottle of water. After another ten minutes, watching other visitors eating their main dishes, we asked the staff about our order. In another five mimutes we finnaly got something to drink. Then we hoped everything will only get better. Well, we couldn’t be more wrong. Our cold appetizers were fine but our main dishes were definitely not. More then half od our order was served with rice instead of french fries. We had informed the waiter (still willing to eat the dishes anyway) but he, without a word, took them back to the kitchen, and has returned with the same dish with the rice and some spare french fries on top of it. This much would be fine but all of our food was quite cold. Since we were already annoyed, we have started eating our dinner but one of us was disgusted with his cold Moussaka, and has called the waiter. The waiter has told him without any hesitation, that it is only a leftover but if it helps, he could microwave it. I will not be mentioning for how long we have waited to pay for the disaster they have created. I am genuinely disappionted. Th most slow service ever 🤦‍♀️ I understand ots family run taverna and maybe not enough personnel to work. But, really, guys, if you cannot do good - than dont do. We waited 15 minutes for somebody to come and organize table (to pit 2 tables together for 5 people) and 10 more minutes to take order. And than we waited for one hour the food (fried kalamarakia and variety of grilled meat, very typical food, nothing extraordinary with Bechamel fresh sause or what needed too much cooking).
