Kalyva tou Psara — Restaurant in Argostoli Municipality

We where looking to eat fresh fish from the sea and found out on Google this place. We had a long drive to get there. The owner where talking to us because we got scared when we saw the prices. I will said that first get ready this place is about a 50e for aporeson. The disputant is for that money you sitiing In the heat swatting and mosquitoes bite you. The prices are crazy even when the owner will explain you that it's clean later on we found out that his prices are super high. We could not enjoy the food and paid high prices for unknown reason that's make us feel like we fall into a tourist trap.

The food and the fishes where made on a grill and where professional made but again with out the right atmosphere and a normal price it's just not worth it any other fish restaurant in the island will give you fresh fish for...

Let me see. I have good feelings about the place. It's a family run taverna, next to the sea. They have catch of the day. They serve the fish u choose. Only with zaziki and fries. U don't need more actually. So it's cool. Only one bad thing. The fish prizes nowhere is shown. So kind of u got a prize , accept or leave . Or bargain. That would be better, if it's wouldn't be like a here you go fee. Otherwise inedible. We eat a fish Zeus fish, never ever try it before. It was 1.5 kg, and we pray like 67 euro. Only for a fish. With sides and wine 85. High prize for a fish, not high for a new experience. The place recommended, and if the prize will be shown, that's 5 star will be. Overpriced €60 for sea bass! Not market price. Fish soup was bland and cold with very little fish. Squid pasta bland and cold, when asked if it should be a cold dish we were asked "what?" after several attempts to ask shout it be cold and several, "what?" She answered "oh yes". Mr bodybuilder waiter was rude, sulky and arrogant with a wolf whistle ring tone on his constantly in use phone! On a positive, nice view, good greek salad, good bread with oil (we had to ask for and received with a thud at the end of the table, not in front of us) all in all the very worst experience we have ever had in Greece. Don't waste your time, effort to get there...
