Went on Wednesday 5th June, about 3 other people in the place, no atmosphere, no music just silence. Ordered an ouzo and bottle of water but only got the water so had to call the waitress over to get my drink. Food order : special: Lamb Kleftico.... Most definitely special in as much as it ranks top of the worst meal I've ever been served. Opened the parcel to find approx half pint of greasy liquid complete with a bone to which was attached a huge lump of fat, not one bit of meat just a lump of cream coloured fat, 2 round slices of carrot and about half a small potato diced. After complaining that it was inedible the meal was replaced by another one which was marginally better, it did actually have a forkfull of meat amongst the layers of slimy fat and greasy liquid and it did contain 3 slices of carrot which took up residence in the slop with another diced up bit of potato. To be fair I was offered a free drink which I refused... A decent meal would have been acceptable not a slug of some cheap ouzo which can be purchased for pennies from any supermarket. I'd be extremely surprised if this restaurant stays in business unless they up their game. Would I recommend it? Not a...

In winter time (off season) its not easy to find something open and with good quality food. So, we passed some villages till found the place named Petrino spiti open.
First we were skeptical: never heard about this place (we are locals, so we know where to eat) and it looked empty. But since we were hungry, we risked and stopped.
Place is small. Serves meat and very interesting appetizers, which i didn't see anywhere much (the breads with smoked aubergines were amazing!).
The food was good quality. I took lamb ribs and licked my fingers. My husband took beef steak medium-rare and it came huge and correct medium rare. Kids took: souvlaki pork and chicken and biftekia. All was good, biftekia was so big, that we brought it home too.
Fresh and delicious. Now will have this place in mind.
And - they do delivery to...
Read moreLovely place. Really nice staff and wonderful food. We stayed at Ionis Hotel, it’s about half a mile walk from there and well worth it. We went on consecutive nights - the first, we had chicken souvlaki, pork, steak, and lamb chops. The steak was a huge portion, the lamb chops tender, chicken fresh, and pork very filling. We returned the following night to have kleftiko which was extremely well presented and tasty. The waiting on staff were so kind and friendly and it’s a family run place. Prices are very reasonable too. The ambience outside is so peaceful as the sun sets and the candle lights brighten your table. Definitely recommend this place if you come...
