If I could leave zero stars I would. Service was horrible. Uncoordinated for a group of about 20 people and food was coming to one table and the central table was left without any food for way over an hour. We ordered two salads for a starter which never came at time of writing this review. They brought the main dishes after about a hour and a half. My dish was a double smash cheese burger. What a joke and rip off. Any Goodys or McDonald's burger is far superior. I returned the dish and they a brought a more decent one but still subpar. The salads never arrived. Only good thing was the Zombie cocktail which was decent but no where close to the best Zombie in Athens as one of the staff claimed. Sorry but not going to come here again.
Follow up from above review:
Owner or manager lady caught me before leaving the establishment asking for explanation my review. She admitted the burger dish was poor, which was a good start, but was reluctant to take my review of poor service for face value to improve services rendered. She also gave the poor excuse of the salads going to the other table. She failed to understand my experience and expectation of quality when eating out at a restaurant which are usually, but not limited to, quality of food, service and environment. Like most other service sectors, a food service industry's good rating is reflected by (usually) hard work, imagination, aiming to please and to strive for excellence. As much as this saddens me to say as I'm Greek, unfortunately the aforementioned are frequently ignored in Greece especially in the service industry and replaced with the delusion of grandeur and delusion of hard work. Not to say this is not encountered in other countries but it doesn't take much to realize the above sentiment is too frequent to be ignored especially when dealing with "services" provided by the public sector. If you are one of those people who go with flow and it doesn't bother you when you spend your hard earned income (applying the above mentioned values) on something that does not please you then I apologize in advance but then again maybe you are one of those people who get money...
Read moreDrinks for two on a Saturday night and they barely accepted us, as they claimed to be ‘fully reserved.’ We were seated at 9.30PM, and until 1.10AM when we left, there were still many empty tables. After 1AM, people started smoking inside at the bar area. When we asked for the waitress why this was allowed, she claimed that since nobody was eating anymore at the time, it was OK. She asked me whether I was bothered, and I replied positively, reminding her that indoor smoking is illegal. She grimaced with indifference and left. If you’re looking for a respectful service, that’s not the place. Let them have the customers...
Read moreThis place is amazing and a must eat place in Athens. It was a bit tricky figuring out how to get into the restaurant but the doorbell works and someone will greet you at the door quickly if you press the doorbell button. Service was excellent. Everyone was super friendly and the atmosphere was awesome. Great spot for a quiet getaway and some good eats and drinks. It has upbeat music but it's quiet enough to have conversations. There's an outdoor section as well. This is a very unsuspecting gem in a neighborhood you wouldn't expect this to be in. Definitely will be back again if I visit...
