Ταβέρνα Κάμπος (Ταβέρνα Τασσόπουλου) — Restaurant in Chios Municipality

After visiting Chios for over 2 weeks, eating out at restaurants 2 meals a day. This taverna was by far the best experience we've had during our entire visit to Chios. The food: amazing, generous portions and honestly top quality recipes and flavours.

Very pleasant staff, would say the only thing we could potentially complain about was all the cute little cats 🐈 asking to be fed.

We found the tavern by chance when we were searching something to eat near our hotel. Best food in the Kampos region. Customers were mostly locals, I can say that it was only us as tourist. We tried mezes, schnitzel, kalamari, meatball from Smyrna. Highly suggest the meatball and kalamari. Takis and his wife are very friendly couple.
