Our visit to Symposium was nothing short of extraordinary. Nestled in the picturesque Delphi hills, this restaurant and banquet facility perfectly embodies the unique blend of Greek artistry and natural beauty. The ambience was spectacular, with the mesmerizing Greek landscape serving as the perfect backdrop for our unforgettable experience. We brought a group of 25 yogis from the U.S. and were warmly welcomed by the talented Symposium staff, who offered us special Greek cooking lessons. Their expertise and passion for their craft shone through in every dish, offering us an authentic taste of Greek cuisine that was nothing short of fantastic. The traditional Greek musicians and dancers further enhanced our cultural immersion, filling the air with enchanting music and high-spirited dance. Our group not only enjoyed the performance, but also learned a few fun, traditional Greek dances, making the experience even more interactive and enjoyable. What truly sets Symposium apart is the impeccable service provided by the organizers and host. They were incredibly accommodating to our needs and requests, going above and beyond to ensure our experience was perfect in every way. This level of care and attention to detail truly elevates Symposium and reflects their commitment to providing an exceptional experience for their guests. We cannot recommend Symposium enough. For those seeking an authentic and unique Greek culinary and cultural experience in a stunning setting, Symposium is the place to be. Prepare to be swept off your feet by the unrivaled beauty, incredible cuisine, and exceptional service offered at Symposium. You won't regret it. Namaste 🙏

I recently had the pleasure of hosting two separate yoga retreats at Villa Symposium in Delphi, Greece, and it was an absolutely incredible experience! This family-run business truly makes you feel like part of their family. Everyone is so welcoming and goes out of their way to ensure you feel at home. Our daily yoga sessions were held in the Villa's art gallery, which served as the perfect serene space surrounded by beautiful art and sculptures—a truly enlightening environment for our practice. We stayed for one week per retreat, and every moment was filled with magic. The meals were consistently outstanding, featuring the freshest locally sourced ingredients. Greek cuisine has never tasted better, and we were fortunate enough to participate in a cooking class led by our host, Lydia. Our groups loved preparing and enjoying traditional Greek dishes—it’s a must-do experience! The accommodations were fantastic and just a short walk to the villa each morning. We also had the opportunity to explore the Villa's holistic herb garden, guided by one of the family members. Walking through the garden was peaceful and we even spotted beautiful tortoises! I can’t recommend Villa Symposium enough—authentic, home-cooked meals, fresh local ingredients, and 5-star personalized service. This is a place where attention to detail and personal touches make all the difference. Thank you to the amazing team for such an unforgettable stay!

People mostly are here because of Key Tours, which takes you to Delphi. It’s clearly a partnership which isn’t an issue for me, but I honestly am appalled about the standard here. For a restaurant with leaders having gone over (eg hillary clinton), i expected better. But the meal i had here was prob one of the worst in Greece. For one, the other reviews commenting on how they keep asking you if youve ordered drinks IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE. We were asked 4 times, by the same 2 people ???? The food was đŸ„Č with the best dish being Greek Yoghurt with fruits. Zucchini fritters were alright but the inside was so soft we wondered if it was properly cooked. No go: - bread with olives. bread tasted stale, olives were super salty - the salad below the fritters and that came with one of the dishes was gross. it tasted raw and frozen / not fresh - the rice with the dishes wasn’t nicely seasoned - calamari was underwhelming Even the LEMON that came on the side was funky 😭 A plus is the toilet at the basement which was clean. But the light sensor in the cubicle goes off after a while just take note.

Hello, I have been in this restaurant because we booked our day trip to Delfos and we paid our ticket with the food included for 16€ extra (closed menu). We chose that due to it was the only available option offered with the tour.

I have advised the tour company about my lactose intolerance in order to get something ready for when we are there but anyone was aware.

After checking with the waiters, the only option they gave me was an aubergine dish with more vegetables. The closed menu, included one starter and one main, and if you are vegetarian or vegan, the starter and the main options are the same, so 2 aubergine dishes...

In my case, as I don't like aubergine, I have asked one of the waiters to show me the food menu in order to order a different thing. But he never came to take the order. After a while, I ended up ordering it to a different waiter. The service was really poor and no consideration was taken after I said I has my intolerance.

In addition, the only option available (lactose free) was the aubergine dish, so I ended up ordering 1 main extra + the main that was included with the tour company menu. Paying 12€ extra for an entrance I could eat and another 12€ extra for the drinks. (As a reference I paid around 15€ for any other meal I took in Athens, including drinks)

As a feedback: -Nowadays, more people have intolerances and many others are vegetarian or vegan by choice, not my case, so I ordered two meat plates. But if you are, it's not fair the only available options to eat there is the same dish for starter and for main. -The communication between the waiters and the customers is really bad, they just want to serve the food asap and go away, no taking care about customers experience to keep the customers happy and bring a good service. -At the end of the meal, one of the managers came to asked for feedback about how the food and the services were and I explained everything. He said the options available are enough for their customers, so I won't recomend this restaurant if you have any intolerance as the available options are really poor and the service is not great. It's worth to look if there is any other...

Part of a tour to Delphi. People who were having the 4 course set menu were being well looked after, and having a great time, with food that looked and smelled great, at great value. The few tables in the a la carte section had a different experience. We were all mainly served by the same person, (for benefit of venue- I think maybe restaurant manager or owner, since he was older, and was the only one who wore a sweater over his shirt, spectacles tucked into it) he was actively rude at times and generally sullen the rest. I was literally in the process of sitting down, hadn't even looked at the menu when he asked "have you decided what you want?" My wife, a little ahead of me picked up the menu and 'umm'ed he walked away without a word. I later saw him dismissively speaking over his shoulder as he walked away from a table of Asian/East Asian ladies who were obviously also unhappy about something. When our food was ready he came to our table and re-took our order before making another trip back to the kitchen to collect it. He wasn't checking; 'did you order this;__ ' it was "what did you order?" he hadn't written the order down and had forgotten. Awfulness of service became a little joke, I think it would have been depressing otherwise. We were never offered drinks and while glasses were on the table, no water ever appeared. The 4 course appears excellent value, a la carte, not. €5 for tsatziki and €7.50-8 for salad? Places with high rents in Athens don't charge that much. The bread that came with the tsatziki was either yesterday's, or had been left warming for WAAAAAY too long, the outer 1-2 cm were stale, not crispy, but dry, hard, stale. I've been a waiter in cafĂ©s and a Michelin star restaurant, and many between and in the kitchen in some of those too, I know the difference, and I know when an establishment doesn't really care about a type of customer. Waited far too long for a bill as well, it never came so we left cash on the table and...
