I have to be honest, I am staggered.. I have come to Ikaria for the past five years and have many friends on the Island, we all like Hidden.. Today a waitress there behaved in a very very inappropriate way. I have really been to many places around the world but the rudeness of this waitress I have never encountered anywhere. Yesterday evening we already had dinner at Hidden, we came back today just for a drink (to be specific, just a coke) which was like 5€ in total. After not giving her a 10% tip for one Coca cola she already looked a bit annoyed, which was however not the reason I am writing this comment. Anyways, so we paid and I did not finish my Coca Cola yet, we were standing at the bar next to Hidden which is literally right next to hidden, there is really no space in between these two places, you cannot spot the difference. We went there to the high table to talk to some friends. The restaurant hidden was almost empty, there were like 5 people, and the waitress approaches me and tells me that I cannot sit on the chair from hidden anymore because I have already paid, even though I still had some of my drink left. I have never ever experienced something like this. Totally unnecessary and inappropriate, I mean the place was almost empty, would have been different of course ir it would have been full, but it was not… I will never come back to this place, and I will tell all my friends from this experience, be...
Read moreI frequent this place for my brunch cravings and that's what I would get. It's simple , it's so satisfying and with the view and the lovely ladies that serve there... Really no reason to complain. Do note that this is a modern establishment with a simplified menu. So I would say don't expect local greek prices. The omelette (3 toppings of your choice) with the salad and the bread cost about 9 euros. Yes it's probably cheaper to make it at home BUT you aren't going to get the view that you do from here. Overlooking the Aegean, and you can see Armenistis beach, all the way to Livadi and Mesakti. And it's also a nice place to kill some time or work a bit... If you're ever in Armenistis, I'd recommend you to stop by for a nice brunch before or after the beach. I haven't tried the rest of their menu but I will surely...
Read moreThe most interesting place around this part, something different from food choices, perfect for brunch / lunch. A little more expensive, but the dishes are large. It is really busy around noon till 14 o'clock, and I think it is best to avoid that time. When it's busy, we've seen orders that are late for a group of four, one getting their dish half an hour prior to the last person of the group. It also happened to us where the dishes arrived at different times, but we didn't mind that much because we shared. They have vegan and vegetarian options on the menu...
