Tavern Paschalia — Restaurant in Icaria Municipality

We had a very romantic evening. The stars, the beach, the wine…But then came the Moussaka. It had a slimy not definable goo layer with horrendous consequences. Actually we wanted to meander around the beautiful village. But instead we walked around in pain. I felt like a pregnant woman giving birth every minute. Couldn’t enjoy the evening. But the worst yet to come in the next morning: both, my date I, had to run to the Toilette every minute. We had massive diarrhea - and only one bathroom. You can think of the traumatizing end of the story. Can definitely not recommend...

We’ve tried the moussaka, meatballs and the stewed lamb. Stewed lamb the best out of them but I also enjoyed the meatballs a lot, moussaka a bit cheesy but very decent. Great draft beer 🍺, wine not much to write home about and ample ouzo. Very friendly guys serving us and very nice view. Great value budget meals and down to earth atmosphere. You may have many cat’s accompanying you, occasionally taking a spare seat, they try chasing them off but you know,...

Great location , attentive staff and the pricing is some of the cheapest in armenistas.

The menu is varied and one of the few places you can get toasted sandwiches . The saganaki portions are huge so if you're ordering this probably best not to order anything else as the portion is enough to be a main.

Service is excellent and you can easily have a meal here with starter and drinks for 15 euros per head.
