We chose to sit here to try the place, and overall the food was good. The French fries and souvlaki were very nice, though the souvlaki was slightly burnt on the sides. The ntakos was decent, though not particularly memorable, and the chicken with purée and orange was also fine.
One thing that could be improved is the seating policy. There were empty tables in the front line and although we explained that our boat was leaving soon and we wouldn’t be staying long, we were seated in the second row. When I asked about it, the cashier mentioned that sitting in the second row is the same as in the front being ironic.. While I understand there may be reasons for this seating arrangement, it would feel more welcoming to give guests a choice when there are available tables. (Second pic is taken from the boat). Note : Those tables are still empty at 1930 although both had a reservation at 1900 according to the waitress.. :(
Overall, the food was ok, and with a little more flexibility in service, the experience could be even better.
Also another point I would like to add is that they use chatgtp or AI tool to respond to their customers which is not polite as we spend time to write a human review. (screenshot attached)
And yes if people came before and they had a reservation, we would give them their table as a mentioned to the waitress. But our boat was at 19:00 so probably it wouldnt be...
Read moreIf you’re coming from a cruise, avoid this restaurant unless you’re fine with missing your ship. We had 1.5 hours off the ship for lunch and a quick swim. We sat down here first — there was no crowd at all — yet it took 20 minutes for anyone to take our order. The food itself was good, but paying was a nightmare. After eating, we waited 10 minutes for the waiter to come after we asked for the bill, then another 15 minutes for the bill to arrive… which it didn’t. We had to ask a second waiter, waited another 10 minutes, and still nothing. Only when we said we were in a real hurry (75 minutes after sitting down) did the bill finally appear. By then, our entire break was gone and there was no time left for the beach. If you’re on a cruise stop and want to eat and swim, do yourself a favor and pick...
Read moreEverything was great, but the experience was unfortunately partially ruined when I saw the (€80) check and realized that we were charged €4 couvert charge for a few slices of bread (and silverware, as explained by our waitress). I personally do not like the couvert (imposed) concept, regardless of what you get and how much it cost. Treat me as an adult and tell me that there is service charge and let me decide what I want to do. I don’t like being treated as a kid and taken advantage of for a few bucks, just because I am on vacation and you will never...
