Χάρκας — Restaurant in Kalamaria Municipality

Update after the restaurant’s answer: I wasn't going to be so trenchant, but it's because of this mentality and attitude you have a very poor rating, probably the good ones are made by your sfaff and your 300 clients are mostly one time comers, probably tourists.

First of all, i am not against cutlery if the local has prestime conditions, but your toilets were really dirty and the arrangements made out of cheap plastic, so your 5€ cutlery represents a 30 cents bottle of water and a reused old bread, yeah, it had marks on it.

Second, the so called fresh tiny octopus was miraculously done after 2 minutes since we ordered, but you brand it as a fresh seafood restaurant.

Third, why will i ever feel guilty for only drinking a fresh juice and a coffee? there were only 4 other tables occupied, we kinda ordered something for our son just to wash the "guilt" a little bit, we just had lunch 2 hours before.

Unfortunately for your local, we are living in a digital era and these scams won't last long, this was by far the worst experience when eating out in Greece, and we've been there like 10 times, good luck!

Review: I am extremely disappointed. It felt like a scam. We wanted to drink a coffee and a fresh juice, they had no coffee, no juice nor lemonade but they set the table, one 700 ml bottle of water, some bread and cutlery and for this they charged 5 €!! We ordered octopus. It was awful, it was “swimming” in a lot of oil, very small portion, no side dish and they charged 12 €. 19€ in total for this and one coke! No quality for a lot of money! Do not recommend!! I understand that this day is special and very busy and I respect their effort. It took almost half an hour to order and the food was pretty much flavourless. Service was bad, maybe they are tired.. There was broken glass and pepper on the floor when we came in and they tried blaming us for it .. They have Turkish toilets, that’s ok but is not the best for a restaurant (my opinion). Also found a bug in my salad .. One of our friends had a burger and there were pieces of octopus in it 🤮 (luckily he is not allergic). To top it all off we didn’t even get a receipt. I don’t think I have to say...

Not impressed. I went because I found out there is a new owner so thought worth a try (previously it was one of my favs!). Completely disappointed, half the plates were overly cooked and dry, especially the grilled calamari and the octopus that were also quite pricey.
