Read moreΒάζω 3 αστέρια, κάτι που σπάνια κάνω, αφού σχεδόν πάντα αξιολογώ με 4 αστέρια και πάνω. Ο λόγος είναι ότι οι τιμές δεν δικαιολογούν το σύνολο που προσφέρεται. Βλέποντας την τοποθέτηση του εστιατορίου στα social media, αποφασίσαμε να το επισκεφτούμε, με την εντύπωση ότι θα ζήσουμε μια εξαιρετική εμπειρία. Δυστυχώς, όμως, η εμπειρία μας ήταν, με μεγάλη επιείκεια, μέτρια.
Είχαμε κάνει κράτηση μερικές ημέρες νωρίτερα. Όταν φτάσαμε, υπήρχαν μόνο δύο παρέες: εμείς και μία ακόμα που βρισκόταν ήδη στο γλυκό. Η υποδοχή ήταν ευχάριστη, με χαμόγελο, και μας οδήγησαν στο τραπέζι μας. Παραγγείλαμε δύο ορεκτικά, μία σαλάτα και δύο κυρίως πιάτα.
Στα περισσότερα πιάτα έλειπε η ένταση στις γεύσεις, αν και οι υφές ήταν ωραίες. Το μεγαλύτερο πρόβλημα παρουσιάστηκε με το φιλέτο τόνου που παραγγείλαμε, το οποίο ζητήσαμε να είναι ψημένο σε βαθμό medium. Όπως γνωρίζουν οι περισσότεροι, ο τόνος όταν παραψήνεται γίνεται σκληρός και χάνει τη γεύση του. Δυστυχώς, το φιλέτο μας ήρθε well done, κάτι που το έκανε εξαιρετικά σκληρό και δυσάρεστο στο να φαγωθεί.
Στο μεταξύ, μια μεγάλη παρέα 16 ατόμων είχε φτάσει στον χώρο, και οι τέσσερις σερβιτόροι ήταν πλήρως απασχολημένοι με αυτήν, αγνοώντας πλήρως εμάς και τα προβλήματά μας. Δεν θέλοντας να δημιουργήσουμε αναστάτωση, αφήσαμε διακριτικά το φιλέτο στην άκρη του τραπεζιού, ελπίζοντας ότι κάποιος θα το πρόσεχε. Παρ’ όλα αυτά, κανείς δεν ήρθε.
Ζητήσαμε τον λογαριασμό και όταν ο σερβιτόρος μας ρώτησε αν όλα ήταν καλά, του αναφέραμε ευγενικά ότι ο τόνος ήταν πολύ ψημένος. Μας ρώτησε αν θέλουμε ένα νέο φιλέτο, αλλά δεδομένου ότι είχαμε ήδη ζητήσει λογαριασμό και δεν το είχαμε φάει, η πρόταση ήταν ατυχής . Δηλαδή, ποιο ήταν το νόημα; Να μας έφτιαχναν νέο φιλέτο για να το πάρουμε πακέτο και να το τρώγαμε στο σπίτι; Ειδικά όταν υπάρχουν πιο λογικές λύσεις.
Συνολικά, η εμπειρία μας δεν ήταν ευχάριστη. Με δεδομένες τις υψηλές τιμές και τις μεγάλες προσδοκίες που δημιουργεί το εστιατόριο μέσω της παρουσίας του στα social media, η ποιότητα και η εξυπηρέτηση δεν ήταν αντάξιες.
Ίσως να δοκιμάσουμε ξανά στο πολύ μακρινό μέλλον, αλλά για την ώρα, το Μαϊάμι δεν μας εντυπωσίασε ούτε...
