We were invited to Remvi for a company party.
Service === 5/5 The waiters were extremely polite and served all our requests perfectly. They'd resupply any food that was fully consumed, were quick to service us and allow plenty of room for our reservation. Excellent. One of the gentlemen working there even went the extra mile and remembered my drink of choice to serve me a refill when requested. Simply simply lovely.
Drinks & food === 4/5 The drinks were great. The feedback I got from other colleagues was along those lines as well. They all enjoyed them and had no complaints as far as I'm aware. I really enjoyed the food as well. I didn't hear any particular praises so I can't say there was something special about it but it certainly was more than good enough and that works for me. I'm not particularly stingy about food quality to be honest. Food is food. I'll go with a 4/5. I may not be the best judge in that regard.
Prices === ?/5 The tab was on the company so I have no idea how much everything cost. I did hear a couple of comments about the prices being slightly expensive but it was in comparison to a different European country so I couldn't tell if the drinks at the bar were expensive or if the other country had extremely cheap drinks.
Location & Appearance === 5/5 Location is beautiful and the bar's overall design was great. Honestly, a very pleasant place and vibe. I am a smoker so smoking wasn't an issue for me and many of my colleagues as well. We visited during summer time and the entire place had huge, open windows everywhere so the atmosphere never really filled with cigarette smoke. I am not entirely sure if the other reviewers visited during winter where (I imagine) the windows were closed. If that was the case, I understand where they're coming from. It wouldn't be pleasant.
Overall === I'd definitely visit again. The staff really stood out for their efforts. I sure hope they get paid well and get treated with respect by the owners. They were the best part of the entire experience. Super polite, respectful and attentive.
For that, I'm gonna give the...
Read morePros: quality food and great view.
Cons: see list below.
1 - We ordered bread as a starter and after it came the bread basket had leftovers from other customers. On top of that, the bread had a pretty standard quality (alike the normal sliced bread that you buy at the supermarket).
2 - We ordered wine by glass since we wanted to try different local wines, in which the waiter commented had great quality. All the three times that we ordered it, the wine amount in the wine glass would differ from each other.
3 - By the time that we have ordered the starters we were also enjoying the great view and expecting the sunset. We took it pretty chill and communicated to the waiter that we wanted to wait a bit with the main course. Unfortunately, it seemed like he did not understand what we said, in which in a interval of 30 min he came to our table 3 times asking us if we wanted to order the main course.
4 - Extremely expensive for the amount of food it offers, besides the great main course quality.
5 - When paying the bill we were asked if we would like to leave any tips. I said politely that we would not like at this time. The waiter however got really annoyed and had a huge mood...
Read moreVery nice place. Prices are a bit higher than most places, but they do make up for it with their food, service, and view from the restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a proper dinning experience. They always made sure to not let our glasses be empty. I don't know if that's their standard, but since we were the only party of people there (12 people) it was very helpful, and a nice touch on their side. Their food was worthy of their prices. Very well executed and presented. It was my uncle and aunt's anniversary and we all left satisfied. The only downside was that the music from the bar was a bit too loud. I'm sure they would have turned it down if we asked them, since we were a lot of people, but we didn't ask, so we can't blame them. I would surely recommend it, to anyone who...
