Cafe Bar 51 — Restaurant in Kalamaria Municipality

We visited this café today, as it appeared to have a pleasant atmosphere. In terms of design and comfort, the setting was satisfactory. Unfortunately, the experience quickly deteriorated once we placed our order.

Firstly, our order was taken incorrectly. We had made specific requests regarding our coffees, but when we politely pointed out the mistakes, the waiter simply shrugged their shoulders and dismissed us without any attempt to resolve the issue. This attitude was not only unhelpful but also disrespectful.

The most concerning matter, however, arose when we ordered a fresh fruit juice mix for our toddler. We specifically asked which fruits were being used, yet the waitress failed to mention certain ingredients. Thankfully, our child does not have allergies—otherwise this lack of transparency could have had serious consequences. Such negligence is completely unacceptable in any establishment serving food and drinks.

Customer service overall was lethargic and unprofessional. The waitress in particular was not only inattentive but outright rude, making us feel like inconveniences rather than paying customers. Basic facilities for families were also lacking—there was no toddler chair, and given the dismissive attitude we had already experienced, we did not even dare ask about the availability of a changing station.

In summary, while the café may look appealing on the surface, the service was poor, dismissive, and at times outright negligent. We will certainly not be returning, and I would strongly advise management to take customer service and food safety far...

I don't always leave a review but I feel I had to this time. We've had a bunch of shots, and by a bunch I mean at least 6 or 7 each. We were sober afterwards. They water out the shots. Imagine making people pay 3 euro a shot and watering them out. Don't you make enough profit? They also tried to scam me out when I asked a precise strong alcohol at 40°C by showing me a 20°C version saying "it's the same" and thinking I was too "tipsy" to check it.
