Momo Asian Bar (Kalamaria) *Pet Friendly* — Restaurant in Kalamaria Municipality

Visited Momo a while back and thought to myself, what a great sushi... But... I am afraid not much has changed, and I am the kind of person who likes to try new stuff, to see change. First things first, I would really like a menu that has pictures on it, since it engages my vision, it's food after all, and imagining it doesn't really help, on top of that I don't want to have to go back and forth on the details in order to ultimately place an order, the menu as it is now, is very "basic". Second, I would really, really love a wider range of sushi, probably a wider range of salmon, eel, and even some maguro, a wider range of sets etc. Last but not least, I do believe that the prices are a bit high on the sushi considering that it's not inside out or sashimi which is also way overpriced.

The sushi was not great but not terrible, it lacked this sense of freshness and wasn't very tasty. For the rest of the plates, the restaurant falls into the pan-asian trap thinking they can cook anything from Asia. Special mention to the ramen, I specifically asked how it is made and if they use powder or cook it through, the waitress and manager literally laughed at my face and told me they cook everything in house. What I got instead of ramen would have been much better if it was from an instant sachet. It wasn't even close to being a good chicken soup, the "broth" was blunt, there was no tare, the noodles were wrong and overcooked. Better get a patsa if you craving soup. Advice to the restaurant, stick to the sushi and drop the rest...

I visited Momo Asian Bar located in Kalamaria yesterday, for one more lovely night with a friend, and we had such a wonderful experience! The food was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was fresh and perfectly cooked.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and relaxed atmosphere. A special mention to the owner — such a positive and genuine person! You can really feel the passion they put into the place, and it makes all the difference.

Highly recommend this spot if you’re looking for great food and great vibes. I’ll definitely be coming...
