5-Star Review for Polichrono Beach

Polichrono Beach is an absolute gem that leaves a lasting impression on anyone who visits. From the moment you set foot on the soft, golden sands, you feel a warm welcome that’s hard to put into words. This beach is not only stunning, but it’s also incredibly well-maintained, with crystal-clear waters that gently lap against the shore. It’s like stepping into a postcard.

The water is incredibly calm and transparent, making it ideal for swimming, especially if you enjoy exploring underwater views. Even if you’re not much of a swimmer, just wading in the shallows and feeling the cool waves brush over your feet is pure bliss. The sand is powdery soft and clean—perfect for sunbathing or just enjoying a stroll along the shore.

One of the things that really sets Polichrono Beach apart is the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Families, couples, and solo travelers alike will feel right at home here. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas available for rent, and you never feel overcrowded, even on a busy day. The beach is spacious, giving everyone their own piece of paradise to enjoy.

The nearby amenities are also excellent. There are several charming tavernas and cafes just a short walk away, where you can enjoy delicious Greek cuisine and refreshing drinks. The staff in these places are always so welcoming and eager to share local recommendations, making the experience feel all the more personal. Plus, the prices are quite reasonable, which is a nice surprise for such a popular spot.

Polichrono Beach has a special charm that makes you want to return. It's not just a beach; it feels like a small community where everyone is there to relax and unwind. Whether you’re looking for a day of family fun, a romantic escape, or just some time to yourself, Polichrono Beach offers an unforgettable experience.

For anyone visiting Halkidiki, Polichrono Beach is a must. Five stars, without a doubt, for this beautiful...

The beach is so narrow, only 3 rows of sunbeds, and they are quite close each other. The sand is nice, bars for drinks etc. The see entrance is rocky. See shoes are needed for additional comfort (and safety). Although I didn't see one on that area, there are see urchins in other places. Prices start at 20 euros/set of 2 sunbeds, with 2 drinks included. Wifi available. I rented paddle boards at 15 euros an hour. Plenty of taverns, bars and souvenirs stores. See front is really crowded in the evening. So the see entrance is rocky, but then it's sand only (by the neck's level). See color is nice, transparency quite ok (but not wow). I wouldn't necessarily return to this beach. It looks (and is) crowded, and of you don't book sunbeds in advance, you have to...

Arrive early in peak season as parking can be difficult to find. We visited in early August 2025, arriving at 10am and had plenty of lounge chairs to choose from. The beach is sand with small pebbles at the water’s edge, then larger slippery rocks a bit deeper - “water shoes” can be helpful. The long sandy beach means people can spread out. We stayed for most of the day with plenty of food and drink options.
