We made a reservation by phone and were given a lovely table by the sea. The fried zucchini and the “Meltemi” salad were quite tasty—especially the zucchini, which was crispy and well-cooked. Service was fast, which we appreciated.
Unfortunately, the fried calamari was rubbery and not to our taste. The mussel pilaf was also disappointing; it didn’t resemble the dish we had seen in a photo taken at the same place last year. We showed the photo to the head waiter and explained the issue, but he insisted—rather rudely—that what we received was mussel pilaf, repeated it several times, and walked away. Most of the staff weren’t particularly warm, with a few exceptions.
Also, finding a parking spot nearby wasn’t easy.
We paid €55.50 in total, including only water and bread—no soft drinks or alcohol. Overall, it was a rather average experience for us. In our opinion, the place is overrated, and we don’t...
Read moreBeautiful taverna with delicious, fresh seafood. It's a little off the beaten track but well worth seeking out, with lovely views over a marina that looks like it's mostly used by small fishing vessels. They have the standard stuff you'd expect from a seafood taverna but if you go inside they can show you the fridge which contains the catch of the day, so to speak.
We had deep fried mussels, sardines, squid and a big seabream, which was the catch of the day. There wasn't a disappointing dish amongst them and the sea bream was the star of the show, simply amazing from the grill.
Fortunately the service matched the food, attentive and friendly without being overbearing, very good indeed
Unfortunately didn't get any photos of the food as we were all very hungry but at least managed a photo of the view. Will definitely be...

Mussels saganaki was bad (small ugly and frozen in a water sauce) and the oil in the fried zucchini was overused. The fish saganaki was awesome as well as the salads and everything else. Restaurant tries very hard to please so my advise is to listen to your customers and take out the dishes that you wouldn't eat. Pricing is reasonable, view is fantastic, service was fast for us but we went there very early in the day so I can't say how it would be in the busy hours. The fact is that there is very tough competition from the other two restaurants next door that offer good food as well so management must walk the extra mile to prove itself as outstanding and...
