We dined here last night with 9 people and 2 babies. Upon being seated, it took over 40 minutes for a server to take our drinks orders, only. We had asked repeatedly for other servers who were running plates to tables to take our orders and they kept promising that they would send someone over. Eventually, a server took our order. He didn't even apologize for making us wait for over 40 minutes. The drinks came out after another 15 minutes or so and then the food began to come (slowly). This was our 2nd time here and we have been vacationing on the island of Tzia for over 13 years. I don't expect apologies or "freebies" but for there not to be one even after the waiter knew how long we had been waiting for was a bad showing. We live in Manhattan and even there when the server delays even a little, there's a sign of good faith - one free drink or a dessert. These guys were clueless and offered nothing.
The food was mediocre, at best. Nothing stood out as fantastic and nothing was so terrible. We won't be...
Read moreWe were recommended this place by Greek friends - the overall experience was underwhelming and possibly had the worst meal ever had in Greece. We ordered: an imam aubergine, which was literally raw (was supposed to be cooked and it came straight of the fridge, nearly frozen) some meatballs which were inedible, with a tomato sauce which was likely straight from a can. It came with some sort of Patatas bravas on the side, probably also frozen a biftaki, which was sent back as it was raw, and even once properly cooked it had a strange taste. Had to leave it as the meat didn’t seem fresh.
The service was also appalling, despite the fact we left almost the entire dinner on the table no one cared to ask whether there was something wrong. Only positive note was the cheesecake...
Read moreAbsolutely atrocious service. Never seen waiting staff so rude in my life. One nice guy made me wonder if he was just working for the night. Kids food arrived 2h after we ordered, when I asked when it may come I was told “when it’s ready”. I had to ask countless times for bread and when it eventually came there was not enough for each person at the table to have one piece. I asked for some more and was told “ let’s see if we have any left”. Unbelievable “Greek hospitality” avoid this place at all costs. Shame because the island is super friendly, guess this place must employ all the people with no manners or...
