This place will forever have a place in my heart.
My Fiancée and I stopped on our way to Kalmpaka because we missed our exit and decided to eat at the next town we could get to.
How lucky we were to get to Alma Cucina e Barra!
We don't know a word of Greek and actually got to the restaurant before they even opened.
When the Chef, Piros (hope I'm not writing his name wrong), saw us wondering around he immediately noticed we didn't know greek but through hand gestures he knew we were hungry and we knew immediately that we wanted to eat there. What a great person he was and how fun it was to interact with him!
First he brought us some delicious bread along with some olives which immediately let us know we made the right choice picking that restaurant.

Later on, the Waitress and what I believe was the Owner got there and they were kind enough to take time out of their busy day to talk with us about our traveling and theirs which made me feel right at home in my small town in Puerto Rico.
I think across the ocean nobody talks about how friendly and warm the Greek people are.
I can only say that if you're lucky enough to stumble upon this restaurant either on Google or in person while driving in Lamia do yourself a favor and stop for a high-quality lunch/dinner.
And if that was not enough greatness for a day, we finished the meal off with a great espresso and dessert.
Thanks for the memories! Hope we're back again to see you and enjoy the depth of flavors that your...
